What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a primary health care profession, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders, and the effects of these conditions on a patient’s general health.
Osteopaths follow many of the diagnostic procedures found in a conventional medical assessment however, where Osteopaths differ, is that diagnosis and treatment are hands on and, as such, the Osteopath is able to deliver individually tailored treatment while taking the time to really listen to a patient's needs.
